Shout out to Aikens Lake Volunteers!

Every year, a wonderful group of our family and friends comes together to help us bring this beautiful place out of its winter slumber.
This terrific group of people works really hard to help us with everything from helping put boats in the water, planting all the flowers, washing walls, making beds, putting siding up, operating our saw mill, changing light fixtures, upgrading air conditioning units, putting all the new souvenirs in the shelves...you name it, they are there ready and willing to help!
This year, one of the tasks was to make a dozen new picnic tables to replace those lost or damaged in the wildfires last year.
They work really hard every day and it really warms our hearts to see how much they care about our little slice of paradise.
Thankfully, we find the time for some fun as well! We love you guys and everything you do for us!
To our returning guests that are counting down the days till their return and to our first-time inductees into the “Aikens Experience” we genuinely look forward to sharing and forging new memories with you this season! The staff has arrived, the camp is ready, and the dogs are eager to greet you on the dock!
