Aikens Lake Wilderness Lodge Goes Platinum!
In 2023, Aikens Lake Wilderness Lodge celebrated its 75th anniversary of operation. Our world-class fly-in fishing destination greeted its first guest on the docks in 1948.
Our commitment to preserving this haven, all the while sharing its magic has been the heartbeat of our operation.
From its humble beginnings three-quarters of a century ago, Aikens Lake has since grown and expanded to now offer visitors luxurious amenities and top-tier service while providing the same superb angling opportunities that put our lake on the map many moons ago.
- Our cabins have changed a lot throughout the years. The Wilderness Trail cabins are now replaced with the luxurious Boardwalk and Sunset Chalets.
- Our Master Angler Row and Park Place cabins have been transformed into beautiful 2 person suites.
Our extremely loyal repeat groups love the combination of serenity and isolation.
With this in mind, we added two beautiful luxurious outposts. Any group is bound to enjoy our luxurious Great Gray Owl (GGO) and Lost Lake secluded outpost cabins!
They are perfect for close-knit corporate groups, families, or private parties.
Our returning guests will have noticed that in the many years Aikens Lake Wilderness Lodge has been in operation, we have dedicated ourselves to renewing and improving our fly-in resort.
The Main Lodge and Big Molly's Bar are very popular places to be at Aikens, so we made sure to renovate and upgrade them as well throughout the years!
Looking back on such a remarkable achievement, it is humbling to reflect on the many thousands of people who left their mark at the lodge since its inception. Guests, staff, owners, and partners alike each forged lifelong memories at this special place. Each passing year has seen the lodge evolve while honouring its storied past, welcoming successive waves of visitors to forge their own connections with the untouched beauty of this remarkable landscape.
