2017 Rebooking Campaign

Greetings to all of summer 2016’s guests & group leaders!

We want to say a very sincere THANK YOU to all of you! We are exceptionally proud to have hosted so many happy people at the lodge this past season. The year was a huge success on the water (our best year in the past 10), and also off the water with a record amount of guests visiting Aikens. We couldn’t thank you enough for choosing Aikens Lake Wilderness Lodge as your fishing vacation destination in 2016.

We are already getting amped up for the 2017 season, and equally as excited to host the majority of you once again in the upcoming season... in fact our rebooking rate of 70% has held true for nearly 30 years! Our TripAdvisor Reviews continue to shine – ranking us #1 of 117 Specialty Lodges in Manitoba!

We want to take this opportunity to announce that our “Rebooking Campaign” is now under way. Our repeat customers are given priority in choosing their dates for the 2017 season. Upon cashout at the lodge, groups are given the opportunity to reserve their dates for the following season, without any deposit required at the time. We hold those dates until this time of year, at which time we finalize details and firm up the bookings. For those of you who chose to pencil in dates for next year and reserve your cabins, we will be contacting you soon to ensure the dates still work and to secure your deposits ($800/person).

You may have noticed that our 2017 prices are already posted online. That said, we do value our repeat customers. As such, our carryover 2016 pricing will be in effect for all repeat guests until Dec. 31, 2016. All trips booked in the new year will be sold at 2017 prices. As happened last year, we anticipate our dates to be about 70% booked up by the holidays. That means that the sooner you get in touch, the more options will be available to you. If you’d like to reserve dates and cabins at the best rates, the sooner the better!

Pit and Pat are back in their winter offices and will be manning the phones and emails during the offseason. If you’d like to plan or finalize your 2017 trip, or simply would like chat about anything at all, please do reach out to us.

Note: Julie and Janelle are currently working diligently on the annual calendar and newsletter. Our annual "mailout" should reach all our 2012-2016 guests by Christmas. If you want to be included and aren’t sure if you are, please reach out to us.
