What surprised me the most when I arrived at Aikens for the first time was how much it feels like a family out here!

In the Aikens off-season, I’m going to school for social working, hanging out with my friends (Mariokart and movies is our usual program), listening/playing/overall enjoying music, and reading a lot.

During the pandemic, I really got into discovering new artists from all different genres and influences. For a bit at the start, my goal was to find a new artist and listen to their whole discography every day.

The last TV show I binge watched and loved was Heartstoppers. I watched it all the day it came out and have since watched it in its entirety multiple times.

What surprised me the most when I arrived at Aikens for the first time was… I honestly don’t remember, I wasn’t even a year old at the time, but I imagine it was probably something like the fact that we were surrounded by what seemed to be a big bath.

Very few people know this about me, but I’m very good at most Mario games. My best friend and siblings have very strong opinions and/or feelings when it comes to this topic.

A travel destination that’s on my bucket list is Ireland. I don’t really know why but I feel as if they’re in a constant party with live music, or random bursts of a cappella, and I’m there for that.
