As our Facebook friends know, we love posting big fish photos and sharing in our guests’ excitement over a giant walleye, trophy pike or perhaps their first-ever lake trout. Any picture filled with a fin or a grin by a happy angler is a good picture to us.

Fish photos aside, we also receive hundreds of beautiful scenery shots each year taken by Aikens friends, guests, guides and staff members. We’re thankful for our picturesque setting in the heart of Manitoba’s Atikaki Provincial Park, a pristine boreal forest and proposed Unesco World Heritage Site.

Here is a small sampling of some of our favorite scenic shots that showcase Aikens’ unique beauty. It was hard (really hard), but we restrained from including any fish photos in this lineup.
