All packed up with nowhere to go... We regret to inform you humble readers that today's (May 7th) planned arrival at Aikens has been delayed. It seems our projected opening will have to wait till Mother Nature's icy clutches loosens its grip on the Back Bay. We were informed by our friends at Bluewater Aviation that Bissett (the closest float plane base to Aikens) is still iced in. Traditionally, the Back Bay at Aikens opens up three days after Bissett. So, for the time being we are keeping our fingers crossed and hoping for warm weather! We anticipate arriving some time this weekend... Stay tuned for more updates.
